COVID-19 regulations

According to the newest government regulations, starting from 8th May 2021 we return to offering accommodation to our guests again. However, due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 in Poland as well as restrictions implemented by Polish government, we are introducing several changes in the functioning of our houses:

  1. In every house a bottle of sanitary gel has been installed. The Guests are thereby asked to use them, especially after they get back from outside our property.

  2. For groups planning to stay with us for a longer period of time, we open the laundry service (additional charges apply).

  3. We also enable indirect check-in, meaning the Guests can check in without having to directly interact with the Host. In case the Guests chooses such check in, the procedure looks as follows:

    1. The Guests is required to make the 30% prepayment for the booking, as it is for any other booking at our houses.

    2. The Guests is required to transfer the rest of the payment, along with the climatic zone charge applying in Karpacz (2.30 PLN per person per night) onto our bank account. The said transfer has to appear on our bank account no later than 7 days before the date of the Guest's arrival. It means that the best time to make the transfer is no later than 8 days before the date of the arrival (for transfers between Polish banks; in case of an international transfer, it may take longer for it to arrive onto our bank account. Please take that into consideration when making the final transfer).

  4. The Guest can still choose to pay for the stay during the check-in. However, please remember that choosing this method of payment still requires the 30% prepayment to be transfered onto our bank account after booking the stay. Please be also aware that this method of payment requires direct interaction with the Host. Of course, we intend to oblige by the effective sanitary regulations so the Host will be equipped with a surgical mask as well as sanitary gloves. The Host will also keep the appropriate distance during the check-in and limit its duration to the minimum. Moreover, as of this moment, the entire staff has already been vaccinated against COVID-19 with two doses of the vaccine.

  5. Prior to the Guests' arrival, apart from the standard cleaning, the houses are also ozonised.

  6. Due to the restrictions implemented the government, until further notice, people other than the checked-in Guests are banned from our property. It means that, in opposition to our until now policy, the Guests cannot ask other people over "for a coffee" when those people e.g. are accommodated at another venue or are simply visiting Karpacz. Violating that restriction leads to the same consequences as violating any other regulation from our House Rules does.

  7. Currently, the Polish borders have been opened for the EU citizens but remain closed for non-EU citizens. We are willing to accept booking from international Guests, however, please remember that currently there is no specified date provided when the borders will be opened for non-EU citizens again. For any bookings made until 8th May 2021, we offer the possibility to change the date(s) of the booking in case the borders remain closed during the booked dates. However, after 8th May 2021, the fact that the borders remain closed during the booked dates will not be taken into consideration and the booking will be treated as any other booking made with standard regulations. In other words, an international Guests can make a booking but it is at their own risk if they will not be able to use the booking due to closed Polish borders. The standard cancellation of the booking is still possible that is when done at least 30 days before the day of the Guest’s arrival.
